This movie was released on 14/10/1994, it is based on a story written by Stephen king [author who is know for his horror books and novels]. It tells the story of banker Andy Dufresne. who is sentenced to life in Shawshank State Penitentiary for the murders of his wife and her lover, despite his claims of innocence. Over the following two decades, he befriends a fellow prisoner, contraband smuggler Ellis "Red" and becomes instrumental in a money-laundering operation led by the prison warden Samuel Norton.
Now i will start my explanation, what i understood by watching this movie. we can see a passionate and smart worker who is a banker. First scene we can see how the new prisoners are treated in prison. But for some time imagine that prison as your place of work, you can compare yourself with Andy. He was treated so badly, but he never gave up. He always fought against them. We should also never give up in front of bullies.
Then he becomes friend with red, who will be there with Andy till end of movie. We also got a friend who was always with us and always helped us, face this dynamic world. Then comes the people who were cheating the GOVT. while paying tax. We can even see them in our life also, but these people will not fool govt. But they will always fool us. So try to analyse every person you meet.
Then comes how Andy took a pick-axe and carved the walls of jail, for 19 years and escaped from the prison. When Andy asked for a pick-axe, red and his friends laughed. Because pick-axe is very small weapon, to carve the strong walls of jail. I want you to work so hard on your career, after so many hardships and throwbacks. He didn't stop carving. so, have a passion like Andy. Then i will bet you will be the successful person of your stream.
