Education
is not free for everyone because our country is secular country. All are equal
but some people will get everything for free and some people of general class
don’t get anything, but we see everyone equal. Let’s leave it as its related to
politics. But everyone should get free education……...right? what do you say the
topic is very risky. But I don’t care because I care about the future of my
country.
Under the Right
to Education Act, government provides free and
compulsory elementary education (1st to 8th Standard) to all
children in India across all states. Apart from that, there
are Higher Secondary Schools (9th to 12th) that also provide free
education to schools.
But why all schools are not
providing free education. Because there are many private schools in our country
which eat money from every student. As people think when we pay more means that
it has more value. But have ever wondered what we are being taught in seized
classroom and with strict rules and regulations are the same syllabus taught in
government schools. But government school don’t have good quality education is
the thought which comes in the mind of every parents.
Article 21-A and the
Right Education Act came into effect on 1 April 2010.
The term “free” means that no child, admitted in RTE supported
school, is liable to pay any fee for elementary education.
Why is
government not making free for graduation students? Why after 12th
are they not the citizens of India. Many people leave study after 12th
because of high fees in colleges for graduation. I think the government should
make it also free or with minimum charges. Many works in wine shops to pay
their college fees. There are many students who work in farms, as a
salesperson, and many a time they become goons.
As a
citizen of this country I want ask for government to provide free education. I
know its very hard to provide education free for all. As many people don’t pay
tax and the govt. don’t get income. I also met a great person who works for
BSM. Do you know what is BSM? I guess you don’t because it an association who
is working day and night to bring gurukul system of education. I support them
because the gurukul education will have very less education cost which can
change the education system. And I bet it will affect more on the schools who
made education as their business. Main moto is to erase the private education
institutions.
I told
you about our education system in my previous blog which was posted in another
website of mine. I will quote the website here.
Let’s talk
about merits and demerits of giving free education,
~ MERITS
· Many people who work part-time to
pay fees will stop and try to understand the topic taught to them.
· Education business collapses.
· Equal opportunities.
· Although scholarships are
intended to disadvantaged few, the disadvantaged aren’t just few.
· Remedy to society’s ills – Our society
is more divided by wealth than any other criteria.
· Better governance.
As we
saw the merits there are also some demerits for free education for everyone, as
both are two faces of same coin.
~
DEMERITS
· It will produce a more diverse
and well-trained citizens.
· Everyone will take everything for
granted.
· Government has to make a big
budget for it.
According to me we don’t need free education, but we do need an
updated version of syllabus and teaching system. As there is a great saying that,
“today's educations are like 21st generation students are studied by
20th generation teachers with 19th generation syllabus and
18th generation curriculum's”.
